Solid Black Walnut Slab Shelf. This shelf is made from a slice of black walnut that is hand shaped to retain that beautiful natural live edge. Custom heavy duty hardware is drilled and added into it to ensure it can hold all your things safely. We then hand sand the slab to a smooth, soft finish and dip it into a mineral oil bath to seal the wood. The hardware and screws to mount this in your home will be included with your custom order. The shelf pictured here is 18 inches. Please keep in mind that each individual slab of wood used to handcraft your order will have its own unique character and details. The item you receive may look a bit different due to different grains, swirls, rings, etc of the particular piece of wood used. It will, however, look very similar and be of a high quality.
